Cutting and Bending of Assembly for the Aerospace Industry

Cutting and Bending of Assembly for the Aerospace Industry

When Advance Tube Engineering was contracted by a client in the aerospace industry to manufacture several duct compressor assemblies, we relied on our refined cutting, deburring, and bending processes. The raw material tube measured .25” & .50” inches in outside diameter, and .028 inches in wall thickness. We began by cutting the tubing to length, and bend. We then trimmed and flared both ends per customer specifications. Throughout manufacturing we held tight tolerances, down to +/- .03 of an inch, and adhered to the standards and requirements as detailed in a customer-supplied print. We conducted all inspection and packaging to make sure our client received a superior product, and then delivered the duct assemblies to the customer.
