Cutting and Bending of Stainless Steel Angle Guard for the Marine Industry
Cutting and Bending of Stainless Steel Angle Guard for the Marine Industry
Advance Tube Engineering produced a stainless steel angle guard intended for use within a boat GPS application, through a combination of cutting, deburring, and bending. Beginning with raw, T-304 stainless steel material, measuring 1.250 inches in outside diameter and .065 of an inch in wall thickness, we cut the material to length and applied bending to achieve four, 45 degree bends and a 180 degree bend. The final component measure 59.75 inches in overall length. Adhering to the standards and requirements presented in a client-supplied print, we were able to manufacture 25 angle guards that surpassed our client’s expectations. Upon completion, we delivered the order to our client in Irvine, California. To learn more about this project and other work we’ve done, please contact Advance Tube.
